Sports & Recreation Making sure your child is active is always important, and if your child has cerebral palsy, this need for activity is not only amplified, it may be more difficult to achieve. Sports teach youngsters hand-eye coordination, teamwork and cooperation and help to build self-esteem. Sports also offer the health benefits of exercise and an activity that they can participate in in a more fun, non-clinical setting.
